What is Screen Overlay?

Screen Overlay is feature used by almost every android app. Screen Overlay feature enable any application to appear on top of another app like chat heads of facebook.   1. Open Settings then Click on Apps.
  2. Clісk оn Three Dоtѕ on tор right corner and tар on Configure аррѕ.
  3. Click оn Draw Ovеr Othеr Apps.
  4. Now list of downloaded apps that have Screen Overlay permission will appear.
  5. Now to get the whole list of screen overlay apps including you system app, click on three dots on top right corner and then select “show system apps“.
  6. Now simply Turn Off Screen Overlay for all apps one by one.

How to Turn Off Screen Overlay

Reset App Preferences to turn off screen overlay:

  1. Open Settings from menu.
  2. Then Click on Apps or Application

    Seriously, I had this ish on my phone after installing on mobile antivirus. It took me a while before I could sort it out. I think this thread would be of great use to some newbies in using Android.
